1. All the Empyrean residents must follow waste segregation at Source by using 2 Bin 1 bag system and guidelines.
2. Only food waste – cooked and uncooked (vegetable and fruit peels) should be disposed in green bin without using plastic liner or Newspaper liner.
3. Plastic liners are strictly prohibited in the waste Bins. Do not use them for disposing any kind of waste in green or red (reject) bins.
4. Milk Packets should be washed, dried and then disposed in a white bag.
5. Grocery covers, plastic bottles, Dry coconut shells, tin cans, tetra packs, soap covers, and paper should be disposed in a white bag. Plastic bottles of shampoo, cream, body lotion and oil, desert tin cans, tetra packs of juices or other liquids should be rinsed once with water before disposing.
6. Kindly rinse glass containers (pickle, jam n sauce) with water and dispose in a white bag. Do not give away without doing this, as it goes into reject waste at segregation and adds to the landfills.
7. Swept dust, sanitary waste (napkins, diapers), medical waste, pet reject, extremely soiled papers and plastic covers should be disposed in the red (Reject) bin only.
8. Sanitary waste (Napkins/Diapers/reject medical waste) should be wrapped and tapped in newspaper and then handed over separately to the collection staff.
9. All dog owners must lift the poop of their pet dog with paper and dispose it responsibly.
10. Broken glasses/Sharps should be wrapped in newspaper to prevent it from poking through and should be handed over the collection staff separately.
11. Collect electrical and electronic waste separately and hand it over to collection staff on monthly newspaper drive day (1st Sunday of every month)
12. Collect garden waste in a gunny bag and give it separately to collection staff on Mondays.
13. In case the resident is traveling out of the station, they can drop the waste themselves to common bins, placed at segregation center.
1. Notify BVG team about, villa no., no. of workers (day shift or day and night occupancy at the villa). (BVG Point of contact Mr. Byrava).
2. In case, where the workers would live in the villa for woodwork, use of 2 bin 1 bag is compulsory and the domestic waste management guidelines are applicable.
3. The daily woodwork waste should be collected in gunny bags and handed over to collection staff as and when required.
4. Do not litter woodwork waste, packing materials, hazardous waste outside the villa, on the roadside in the campus.
5. Excess woodwork waste, packing material, carton boxes should be sent to the segregation center of the community.
6. In case, work is done at night hours, the neighbor and Maintenance team should be intimated in advance. Disturbance of any kind to the neighbors or community members, due to the WIP is not allowed.
1. Notify the BVG team, at least a week in advance about the waste management requirements.
2. Ask for common bins for waste disposal – one blue bin for dry and one green bin for food waste. (per bin charge is 100 Rs, To be paid to BVG)
3. Before disposing of the plates into the bin, only food waste should be thrown into food waste green bin, do not mix anything else into the food waste bin.
4. Plates, glasses, cups, spoons should be then disposed into the blue bin.
5. Ask for a resource from BVG to instruct people about disposing of the food waste incorrect way. You can offer food and a token of appreciation in monetary form to the BVG staff.
6. Avoid usage of plastic disposable cutlery in the function to the max. Preferably use steel cutlery for serving or use areca palm cutlery.
7. Use steel glass and water dispenser for drinking water; avoid disposable paper/plastic glasses for water or any liquid drinks. Do not use bisleri bottles for water in the function.
8. Next day of the celebration call BVG team for clearing waste bins from the location on priority.
9. If the tent arrangements are done on the road next to the villa, call BVG staff to clean the place (this is on chargeable basis).
10. For renting out steel cutlery contact green enthusiast team members to help you arrange the same.

2. Do not pluck flowers from community parks.
3. Do not damage community property, playground, and sports equipment.
